WE ARE PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE

At MUD, we’re dedicated to creating a beautiful future for individuals around the world. For this reason we are proud to partner with charities that are making a positive contribution to people’s lives, both locally and internationally. Whether we are adopting a family through the Salvation Army, collecting gifts for homeless women and children, working to improve the quality of education in our public schools or building a home for children orphaned by AIDS, MUD Cares about making a personal difference in the everyday lives of people in need. We like to think of it as building a foundation for a better tomorrow.

The beauty of giving

This year, MUD Cares has teamed up with NextAid in an effort to help orphaned children in Africa who have lost their parents due to the AIDS epidemic. To support this worthy cause, we’ve introduced a limited edition palette of rich, earthy Eye Colors. Why is it beautiful? 100% of the proceeds will be going to NextAid, to help build a safe, sustainable home for six children and one caregiver.

NextAid is a nonprofit organization committed to developing and implementing innovative solutions to the challenges facing African children. Its mission is to promote community-driven, environmentally sustainable, economically and socially empowering responses to the AIDS orphan pandemic. NextAid collaborates with individuals, businesses and nonprofits to produce culturally rich, awareness-raising projects and music events involving technology, the arts, public education projects, and volunteer opportunities. NextAid also works hand-in-hand with environmentalists to create sustainable solutions for our two greatest global challenges: the destruction of our natural environment and the worldwide AIDS crisis. MUD Cares about arts education

At MUD, we know that today’s children are tomorrow’s creative visionaries. This is why we’re also devoted to investing in the future of our local communities. MUD Cares is proud to provide ongoing support for the Burbank Arts Foundation, the only organization dedicated to ensuring permanent and equal access to a quality arts education for Burbank’s 15,000 students. MUD has been involved with the Foundation since its inception in 2006. In that time, we’ve helped to raise and allocate funds in support of art education in the Burbank Unified School District in music, visual arts, dance and drama. We’ve also helped to spearhead the Downtown Burbank Arts Festival, an annual event that attracts more than 30,000 people, features more than 100 artists, and showcases student artistic talent from the Burbank Unified schools. As educators in the arts, this cause is particularly special to us. Please visit www.burbankartsed.org for more information.
